Yes, you can set this up in a few minutes. Add your affiliate IDs once in Biotree Settings, and matching links will carry your tracking automatically.
Quick answer
Open Dashboard → Settings → Monetization IDs (Pro). Add your Apple token, Amazon tag, and optional CJ sub ID settings. Save once. From then on, matching links can include your tracking values automatically.
What Biotree can add automatically
Biotree currently supports three affiliate setups in the settings panel:
- Apple Performance Partners: adds your
attoken on Apple Music links. - Amazon Associates: adds your
tagon Amazon links. - Commission Junction (CJ): adds optional
sidvalues on existing CJ tracking links only.
You do not need to paste full tracking URLs into settings. You only add your ID values.
Where to get your affiliate IDs
- Apple Performance Partners: Get your token in the Apple partner dashboard. Program info: performance-partners.apple.com.
- Amazon Associates: Get your tracking tag in Associates account settings. Program info: affiliate-program.amazon.com.
- CJ: Use your existing CJ tracking links, then choose how Biotree should append
sid. Program info: cj.com.
Step 1: Open Monetization IDs in Biotree
- Sign in to Biotree.
- Go to Settings.
- Find the Monetization IDs card.
- Paste IDs for providers you want to use, then save.
Step 2: Add your Apple token (APP)
In your Apple Performance Partners account, find your tracking token (usually shown as the at value). Copy only the token value, not an entire URL.
In Biotree:
- Paste the token into Apple token (at).
- Save.
Step 3: Add your Amazon tag
In Amazon Associates, copy your store tracking tag (example format: yourname-20).
In Biotree:
- Paste the value into Amazon tag.
- Save.
Step 4: Optional CJ sub ID setup
If you use CJ links already, you can add a sid mode in Biotree:
- off: no sid added.
- page: one sid per page.
- page_link: sid includes page and link context.
- static: uses your fixed sid value.
This only applies to links that are already CJ tracking links.
How to test in 60 seconds
- Add one Apple or Amazon link to your page.
- Publish and open your live page.
- Click the link once.
- On the destination URL, confirm your parameter exists:
at=...for Apple ortag=...for Amazon.
If the ID is there, your setup is active.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Pasting a full URL into settings instead of only the ID value.
- Leaving spaces before or after the token/tag.
- Forgetting to click Save after editing IDs.
- Expecting CJ sid to apply on non-CJ links.
Final note
Your audience experience should stay clean: the page looks the same, while affiliate tracking runs in the destination link structure behind the scenes.
